Art with heart: This Creek is about a mile from here, and in the more rapid currents it stays open most of the Winter. Ice forms in the many coves and thin ice is a safe place for Ducks.

After 40 years of painting, I have painted plenty of Mallards, and had a tough time thinking of a title I have not used before. I think most people will notice him first, look around the painting, back to him, and then to what he might be thinking, Pretty Lady.
